Watch satellite TV on PC, TV or cable TV? I have Satellite TV, and here are some positives and -ves to help you make a better decision.
1. Accessibility
Let me just say that wherever you have internet access, you have access to 3000+ channels worldwide, unlike cable which may not be available everywhere.
2. Range of Programs
Cable doesn't reach everywhere, especially in rural areas, and satellite TV is affected by weather, but with TV on PC, you are not restricted by any of these pain points.
3. Reception
How many times am I going to repeat myself, TV on PC is not restricted by weather conditions, or geographical location, so reception is consistently good, and after trying it myself, I realized that the buffering rate is the only factor which decides the delay in channel broadcasting, but as long as you have Broadband, you are fine !!! Oh it also works with DIal up !
4. Pricing
Price is NOT even FAIR, PC to TV beats cable and dish, by a lot !!!! Guess why? YOU PAY ONCE only for the software !!!!
